Six different foot step VFX to add to any character as their feet hit the ground when walking.
The six types are:
Water splashes (water splashes, surface ripples and water drops)
Dust (dust "shockwave" cloud and lingering dust)
Boot footprints (dusty/muddy footprints)
Blood footprints/blood trail (bloody footprints and blood drops/smears)
Sci-fi (glowing disc and growing rings)
Magical (whisps of growing magic)
With the Unity version, the effect can be added to any character using animation events; detailed instructions are provided, along with a demo scene with six character armatures set up. Custom scripts are supplied to trigger the effects and destroy previous footprints over time with a user-controllable variable. Built-in, HDRP and URP pipeline versions are all supplied.
With the Unreal version, a demonstration avatar is included, along with documentation on how the add the VFX to your own avatar.
